All 8 mysterious photo locations
All eight photos are on Park. Six can be picked up before you unlock Grill and the greenhouse. The eighth is in the scarecrow’s coat pocket in the greenhouse, which is the usual reason a counter sits at 7/8.

Where each photo sits
The three written guides I compared (the wiki, ShowGamer, and a Steam thread) agree on this order of places: porch rail, the back of the basketball backboard, the lower edge of the shed cork board, the garage’s right-hand floor corner, the power box above the swings, the basement shelf by the bottles, a low stand by the grill door, and the scarecrow’s right pocket in the greenhouse.
The basement shelf is the disagreement. The wiki says the left shelf. ShowGamer says the right shelf if you face the entrance. The Steam thread says the far-left shelf. I leave all three wordings in the sources instead of picking a single shelf.

Questions
Why am I stuck at 7/8 photos?
The greenhouse scarecrow pocket is the one most people have not opened yet. The greenhouse hedge opens after the pool is finished.
Are any photos missable?
These three sources say no. Story lets you return to a cleared Park area.
